Established in 1998, Valenta Capital Management is a comprehensive financial services firm based in north Denver, Colorado. The company is led by Michael Valenta who has three decades of experience with corporate retirement plans and financial planning. Michael’s son, Colby, joined as vice president in 2012 and along with our team of professionals, continues our legacy of providing businesses and individuals with trusted financial guidance. Our advisors craft custom financial plans and provide tailored asset management for clients who are actively saving for retirement or are in retirement.
Our 401(k) management department has over twenty years of experience establishing and servicing corporate retirement plans. We provide a holistic consulting approach to help plan sponsors reduce liability risk and optimize their 401(k) program. Our proactive service model allows us to help reduce fiduciary liability and improve retirement outcomes.
Michael J. Valenta is the founder of Valenta Capital Management. Mike has more than 28 years of experience in the retirement services industry and over this time, has been working with family business owners, professionals, and high-net-worth individuals. Mike brings valuable insight into optimizing and structuring retirement programs consistent with a broad cross section of corporate objectives. He also delivers high-quality wealth management and financial planning to his individual clients.
Colby has been with the firm since 2012 and focuses on developing holistic financial plans that address the unique needs and goals of each individual client. He also focuses on interacting and supporting clients that are participating in established retirement plans and brings them valuable insights by enhancing and supporting their financial goals.
Lori has 20 years of experience in the retirement services industry. Lori facilitates client communications, acts as a client advocate, and processes client documentation. She interacts with mutual fund sponsors, broker-dealers, and investment banks with regards to client trades and related financial issues. Lori focuses on providing excellent service to each client and their individual needs.
Brianna is dedicated to taking care of our clients, she works closely with the full team to ensure that every client has the best experience possible. She also helps our marketing team put on great events throughout the year! Outside the office, Brianna loves hiking in the mountains with her dogs, traveling to new places, and, as a major foodie, finding new restaurants and bars to try. She would love to share her favorites with you too, just ask!
Stephanie has over twenty- five years of experience in the financial service industry. She has had the pleasure of collaborating with clients across single and multiple employer plans as well as pooled employer plan arrangements. Stephanie prides herself on being a diligent worker who is customer-centric and attentive to the needs of our clients. Stephanie enjoys helping clients maintain their retirement plans while assisting plan participants to enroll and save for retirement. Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors with her family including two grandchildren Skyler and Jordyn.
Nancy will be the first person to greet you as you walk into our office. She treats our clients with the utmost respect and assists them with their needs, manages calendars, and reallocates client policies.
